God is Where?

Just as God was with Job

Job 40:4-5

I know you're here God. Not just in the heavens. You're not there. You're here. Right here. With me In my presence. In the very same room. My very same air.

Sometimes, life gets so hectic as it is now that we often see God as distant. And the more trials come upon us, and the heavier they get, the further away He seems from us.

We find ourselves asking, "Are you there God? Are you there? As in up in the sky?"

But we don't serve a distant God. We forget sometimes that His very nature is omnipresent. He's present right here. Right now. Not just in heaven. Omnipresent. Everywhere at the same time.

And in this difficult situation we're in, we quickly forget that He is right here with us. Ready to hold us. Ready to console us. Ready to assure us. If we'd just be quiet in our minds. In out troubles and in our spirits, we'll suddenly fee His presence and realize that God is not just "there", but God is here. Right here!

Pray this prayer:

Lord, forgive me for acting like you're so distant. Feeling you and remembering that you're right here makes a world of difference in what I'm going through because you're God and you're right here with me.
